Hollywood Celebrities ‘Cancel’ Independence Day After SCOTUS Setbacks

Only those with puny bird brains (liberals) actually care what celebrities think about politics.

Most of us only admire prominent entertainers for just that, their ability to entertain. But because these people are gassed up to such an extent, they actually feel compelled to constantly voice their political opinions despite an obvious lack of knowledge about any given topic.

Abortion and the recent Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade was the main point of contention for Hollywood celebrities this Independence Day.

While Americans were celebrating independence from British rule with friends and family on Monday, various celebrities took to social media in an attempt to ‘cancel’ the holiday.

Katy Perry, famous for her brilliant lyrics such as ‘I kissed a girl and I liked it’, posted a message on Twitter to her 100 million-plus followers Monday using a line from one of her biggest hits, “Firework,” to rage about the recent decision by the United States Supreme Court.

Outspoken leftist Bette Midler shared the same meme with her two million-plus followers.

Actress Jessica Chastain tweeted a selfie showing her flipping the bird with a message that read, “Happy ‘Independence’ Day from me and my reproductive rights.”

Speaking of Jessica Chastain, once quick flashback into the actress’ past shows she hasn’t always made the best decisions in Hollywood as these photos prove her close friendship with Harvey Weinstein.

A slew of other celebrities made similar posts equally as stupid as Chastain, Perry, and Midler’s.

Left-wing whack job Barbara Streisand even mentioned “authoritarian” Donald Trump in her anti-American July 4th message.

Leslie Jones, perhaps the uglies celebrities to ever grace the silver screen, tried to convince her followers that America has returned to slavery.

Rob Reiner, who even played a leftist on the smash TV hit All in the Family, claimed right-wing “authoritarianism has sunk its hooks into our democracy.”

Others in Hollywood who have had similar over-the-top reactions since the decision was announced include Patton Oswalt, Ellen DeGeneres, and many more.

Once again the cretins in Hollywood proved just how out of touch they are with the rest of America.

Meanwhile, most of us were too busy celebrating America’s freedom with friends and family to care about celebrities’ thoughts on Roe v. Wade.

It’s called touching grass — maybe they should try it.
