Trump Does The Unthinkable Before November’s Midterms

Donald Trump fully understands the power of his pen. He knows all too well an endorsement from him will likely result in that candidate’s victory.

So why does he insist on endorsing candidates who’ve proven themselves to be phony traitors?

As the GOP primaries wane, Donald Trump currently holds a 100-8 record for candidates who’ve received his endorsement. He’s undeniable a kingmaker and still incredibly popular within the Republican Party.

You’d think he’d use his power to endorse unwavering America First candidates that refuse to pull punches against the increasingly radical Democrats and their RINO buddies, but no. Trump is instead endorsing a GOP leader without any loyalty to the America First agenda and instead shows favor to the RINO coalition, namely Rep. Liz Cheney.

The controversy began when Trump endorsed Dr. Mehmet Oz for the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania. Dr. Oz is famous for being a regular on the Oprah Winfrey show before starring in his own programs on various networks. He has dual citizenship in the U.S. and Turkey and has voiced support for some questionable progressive ideals in the past.

Pennsylvania has been identified as a key state the GOP hopes to secure in the 2022 midterms. It’s currently being run to the ground by Democrats whose policies have succeeded in transforming it into a drug addicts’ haven.

The Former President is making similar waves for his endorsement of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.

On Sunday, Trump released a glowing endorsement of the California Republican saying he “is a strong and fearless Leader of the House Republican Conference.”

Questions arose about whether Trump would bestow McCarthy with an endorsement after a bombshell audio recording leaked in which the House Minority Leader considered asking for then-President Trump’s resignation following the Jan. 6 protest.

Recordings of McCarthy speaking with Rep. Liz Cheney revealed McCarthy “seriously thinking” of having a conversation with Trump to recommend that he resign.

“I’ve had it with this guy,” McCarthy added. “What he did was unacceptable. Nobody can defend that, and nobody should defend it.”

Many Trump supporters view McCarthy as a traitor and a double-dealer given his public show of support for the Former President and his America First agenda, only to speak despairingly behind his back.

McCarthy is set to return to his position atop the House of Representatives should Republicans enjoy the success they’re expected to in November.

Under McCarthy’s leadership, the GOP has grown increasingly fractured. The America First coalition featuring lawmakers such as Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Jim Jordan are constantly maligned in the press while McCarthy seemingly favors Rep. Liz Cheney.

Without unity, Trump’s agenda is bound to fail and Republicans will be forced to play catch up with the ruthless Democrats.
