Team Biden Tries (And Fails) To Throw Trump Under The Bus

When all else fails, blame Trump!

That is the current strategy of Biden’s administration.

Even after each and every policy decision Biden’s made resulted in utter failure, they still find a way to blame the Former President.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was the latest to use Trump as a scapegoat for Biden’s policy nightmare. On Wednesday, he assured Congress that the border was “no less secure” under President Joe Biden than under President Donald Trump.

The Biden administration has been grappling with a crisis at the southern border since taking office with promises of amnesty for most illegal immigrants already in the country and the swift reversal of many Trump administration immigration policies.

Despite Mayorkas’ claims, Republicans – and the American people for that matter – are skptical. Border aprehensions haven’t reached such a level in over 20 years. In fact, over one million border crossers have attempted entry into the United States in 2021 alone. August numbers were four times greater than they were in the same month in 2020, and six times less than in 2019 while Trump was still in office.

So how then is the border more secure, Secretary Mayorkas?

The Biden administration claims to have ramped up deportation efforts of Haitian migrants, but many officials have exposed that lie, saying thousands have been released into the U.S. with little more than a notice to appear in immigration court.

When a Republican congressman said that DHS had surrendered its border security role under the Biden administration, Mayorkas replied, “I respectfully disagree. We have never abdicated the duty to protect our country.”

On Wednesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki maintained the lie that Border Patrol agents were whipping illegal immigrants, calling their methods “brutal and inappropriate.” Mayorkas initially denied the use of whips, but later sided with the Far-Left when he determined it was politically expedient.

Images and videos show Border Patrol agents on horseback with what looks to be whips but were actually just horse reigns. There is absolutely zero evidence of migrants being whipped by Border Patrol.

But Psaki also said that Title 42, a public health provision under which migrants can be blocked during the pandemic, was still in effect and that the administration was not permitting illegal immigration.

The unregulated flow of migrants at the southern border has raised national security concerns in addition to worries about spreading COVID-19.

Mayorkas refused to release accurate numbers of how many suspected terrorists have entered in the country this year, whether it be through the southern border or after Biden’s failed Afghanistan evacuation.

The Secretary of Homeland Security claimed he works 18 hours per day.
