Lone Democrat Sabotages Party’s Effort To Legalize Widescale Baby Murder

When it comes to killing unborn babies, the Democrat Party is relentless. They will move the world to give WOMEN the power to terminate pregnancies at all costs, clearly demonstrating their bastardized legislative priorities.

The Senate was quick to act on a federal abortion bill after an unprecedented leak of a draft opinion from the Supreme Court last week suggested that the court may soon strike down its own 1973 decision in Roe that legalized abortion nationwide.

But the effort was doomed from the start, as they did not have the votes to meet the 60-vote filibuster threshold to clear a procedural vote to advance the bill. Critics of the bill said the legislation would not have simply codified Roe but would go beyond what Roe currently permits by overriding nearly every state-level abortion restriction, including those that have been held up by courts with Roe intact.

The House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act last year, but it failed to advance in the Senate earlier this year. The effort was revived after the leak from the court.

Typical of Democrats, a group of House lawmakers made their way to the Senate chanting “My body, my decision” in an effort to sway the Senate vote.

Obviously, their efforts failed miserably.

Meanwhile, this is the same group of lawmakers who supported forced vaccinations for every American, so the whole “My body my decision” bit is a little played out at this point.

Democrats argued outrage about a Roe reversal would send voters to the polls in November’s elections and could change their prospects in an election cycle. However, they’re incredibly misguided as American voters aren’t as concerned about abortion as Democrats would like to believe. Not unless Democrats magically change the course of skyrocketing inflation will voters change the trajectory of the 2022 midterms. The Red Tsunami is coming, abortion or no abortion.

Sen. Joe Manchin was the lone Democrat to oppose the bill.

The Senate vote was largely a show put on for voters so Democrats can prove their taking swift action on the abortion issue. Chuck Schumer knew all too well this vote would fail, and fail it did, but that didn’t stop him from waxing hysterical in front of news cameras.

Appearing to address criticism the effort was merely a show vote, Schumer said, “This is not a theoretical exercise.” He added, “The American people are watching.”

All 50 Republicans opposed the bill, including the pro-abortion rights Sens. Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. Democrats did not consider an alternate, more narrow bill offered by the Alaska and Maine GOP senators that they said would have offered more protections for those with religious or other moral objections to abortion.

Democrats have proven themselves to be the vilest amongst a sea of mega-villains. Their emphatic celebration of widescale baby murder is at best evil but, more than likely, it’s way worse. And remember, these are the same people who support teaching sexuality to kindergarteners.
