Cruelty is the word that comes to mind when describing the Biden administration’s pursuit of eliminating fossil fuels.
Democrats are currently in the process of transforming the U.S. into an environmentally-friendly global corporate state beholden to world governments and multinational CEOs. But the transition has been tough on a majority of the population and average American citizens are experiencing financial hardship thanks to Biden’s energy policies.
No one summed it up better than Department of Transportation Secretary and potential 2024 presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, who told lawmakers on Tuesday of the “benefit” that comes with skyrocketing gas prices.
Buttigieg appeared before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, claiming Biden’s high gas prices are actually just what the country needs. According to the former mayor, the transition into a green energy economy can’t happen unless Americans suffer greatly while filling up their tanks.
“The more pain we are all experiencing from the high price of gas, the more benefit there is for those who can access electric vehicles,” Buttigieg said when asked how Americans can offset financial difficulties faced at the pump.

Did Buttigieg just use the “no pain, no gain” argument to describe a radical transition of the U.S. economy into a ‘green’ fascist state? How moving!
The transportation secretary is continuing to advocate for the widespread use of electric vehicles in the only way a Democrat knows how — but pushing government subsidies and federal handouts to make the cars ‘cheaper’ for consumers.
Americans are bucking under the weight of Bidenflation and a generally stagnant economy, yet Democrats still insist we fork over our last dollar to buy an electric car.
The average price of an electric vehicle was $56,437 in November 2021, according to Kelley Blue Book — up over 6% from this time last year.
Meanwhile, electric vehicles are still incredibly taxing on the environment Democrats claim to care so much about. But as Rep. Thomas Massie told Buttigieg on Tuesday, “It would take four times as much electricity to charge the average household’s cars as the average household uses on air conditioning.”
Democrats actually believe they have the power to change the climate or reverse global warming using little laws and spending taxpayer dollars. The malignant narcissism prevalent amongst top Democrats has truly reached its peak.
