It’s not her fault. After all, she’s just echoing the sentiments of her boss Joe Biden.
The notoriously soft-on-China administration proved just that when White House mouthpiece Jen Psaki essentially encouraged the Communist nation to continue building high-powered nuclear weapons with the implied intention of using them against U.S. and her allies.
Responding to a weekend news report that indicated China had developed and begun testing space-capable nuclear weapons, Psaki said the Biden administration “welcomes stiff competition.”
Psaki made the remarks in response to questions from a journalist on whether the reports were accurate and whether the administration was concerned about China’s capabilities.
The report stated:
China tested a nuclear-capable hypersonic missile in August that circled the globe before speeding towards its target, demonstrating an advanced space capability that caught US intelligence by surprise. Five people familiar with the test said the Chinese military launched a rocket that carried a hypersonic glide vehicle which flew through low-orbit space before cruising down towards its target.
China denies these reports, claiming testing was done on spacecrafts, not nuclear weapons.
Psaki’s response, however, is enough to drive one completely insane and she continues to make a joke out of national security.

Jen faced immense conservative backlash online from those who were astonished by her response to the possibility of our Communist adversaries overtaking the United States in a nuclear arms race.

Former National Security official in the Trump administration, Richard Grenell, couldn’t believe that Jen Psaki was so cavalier in her response to China’s developing of nuclear weapons.

Kurt Schlichter, a conservative columnist, voiced concern over the Biden administration’s lack of seriousness over China’s apparent threats.
Psaki’s words and the Biden administration’s sentiment vis a vis Communist China should come as no shock given their stance since day one. Biden almost guaranteed he’d be soft on China, and remains dedicated to that campaign promise.
The Biden administration has even hinted to destroying many of the Trump-era tariffs against China to fight a domestic inflation catastrophe, which is currently sinking Biden’s approval rating.
Could the artificial rise in inflation merely be a diversion? A justified reason to lift the tariffs?
