Pelosi Breaks From ‘Defund The Police’ Radicals In Effort To Rescue Party

Let’s face it: The Democrat Party is responsible for the rising crime wave most cities in the United States are experiencing right now.

They can attempt to obfuscate from the truth all they want but the summer of 2020 was not that long ago and many of us remember just how insane the Democrats behaved when their voters burned down major American cities while demanding entire police forces be abolished.

These weren’t empty demands, either. Left-wing terrorists held Democrats hostage and many acquiesced, defunding their police and laying off officers at a time when crime was perhaps at its highest.

In turn radical leftists went out to vote for Democrats, who were then able to successfully steal an entire presidential election and install Joe Biden in the White House.

So now that the damage has been done, and they realize Americans have had enough with the palpable deterioration of their cities, Democrat leaders are making a major pivot. They’re trying to memory hole the entire country as if the Democrat party has been pro-law and order this entire time.

On Sunday, Nancy Pelosi appeared on a propaganda outlet to assert a once-frequent call from progressives to defund the police is not the direction the Democratic Party embraces.

“Make no mistake, community safety is our responsibility,” Pelosi said.

WHAT A JOKE

She also pushed back on Missouri Democratic Rep. Cori Bush’s insistence that it’s time to defund the police.

“With all the respect in the world for Cori Bush, that is not the position of the Democratic Party. Community safety, to protect and defend in every way, is our oath of office,” Pelosi replied.

“We’re all concerned about mistreatment of people,” she said. “And that’s why [California Democratic Rep.] Karen Bass had the Justice and Policing Act. And we would hope to get some of that done, whether it’s no-knock, chokehold, or some of those issues, even if we can’t get it all done.”

The drive to end to no-knock warrants has gained added attention since the Feb. 2 fatal shooting of Amir Locke in Minneapolis.

The clown world we’re all forced to inhabit has just gotten even more insane.
