Joy Behar has become one of many biased media figures paid big bucks to espouse her ridiculous lukewarm takes on current events and politics.
Her liberal bias is one that cannot be broken and she has one of the strongest cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome of anyone has ever seen. She’s a common coastal elitist leftists who consistently talks down to those who, she claims, holds backwards or wrong ideas — aka conservatism.
On Thursday, however, Joy really really showed her true colors.

‘The View’ cohost expressed her sorrow over Russia’s war in Ukraine because the timing of the military invasion has interfered with her vacation to Italy — which she has been trying to go on for four years now.
Behar made the comment immediately after her co-host discussed that it has been estimated that thousands of individuals will be killed in Ukraine because of Russia’s attacks and that a humanitarian crisis may form, impacting millions in Europe. Many expressed disbelief at Behar’s comments, pointing out how out of touch and callous she sounded.
While discussing the impact of Russia’s invasion, Hostin said, “I think what I also thought about was the fact that estimates are 50,000 Ukrainians will be dead or wounded, and that this is going to start a humanitarian crisis, a refugee crisis in Europe; we’re talking about 5 million people that are going to be displaced.”
Then, Behar jumped in to explain how the war will impact Western Europe outside of Ukraine — and how it will directly impact her life.
“I’m scared of what’s going to happen in Western Europe, too,” she said.
“You know, you just, you plan a trip. You want to go there, want to go to Italy for four years. I haven’t been able to make it because of the pandemic, and now this. You know, it’s like, what’s gonna happen there?” Behar lamented, referencing the disruption in global travel due to COVID-19, a virus which has killed millions around the globe.

Many expressed their disbelief at Joy’s comment, not believe this level of elitism could actually exist.
Did Putin even stop to think how his invasion would affect Joy Behar’s trip to Italy? https://t.co/957HDmgaF0

While Behar was making her comments, Russians were reportedly bombing Ukrainian hospitals.
Thursday afternoon, Ukraine’s Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko said that at least 57 Ukrainians had died and 169 others had been injured since the attacks began earlier that day. Those numbers surely have risen since then.
The state of liberalism, folks!
