Jan. 6 Protestors Kept In “Deplorable” Conditions — Judge Takes Action

It was never a question that the protestors from Jan. 6 would be utterly mistreated in whatever hole liberal officials decided to keep them in — but no one expected it to be this bad.

These protestors took a risk on 1/6 knowing it was likely they would be imprisoned if captured by Capitol Police. The political climate is one that is beyond unfriendly to anyone who dare admit they support Former President Trump. If it were up to liberals, they would have them all exterminated without batting an eye.

The foul conditions most of the 1/6 protestors are subjected to promoted an impromptu inspection of the D.C. jail. A federal judge couldn’t believe what he saw, and immediately called for the release of defendant Christopher Worrell.

The mistreatment of 1/6 detainees spurred massive backlash after U.S. Marshalls raided the prison. The Marshall’s report was kept secret until this week.

Due to the findings, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth said he has “‘zero confidence that the D.C. jail’ will provide the treatment correctly and not retaliate against Worrell,” who has cancer.

Lamberth called the jail conditions “deplorable” and “beyond belief,” ordering Worrell transferred immediately to another jail and then released home to start cancer treatment.

Some 400 prisoners are being moved out of the jail after the horrific conditions were uncovered.

The Marshals’ report found that water was being shutoff in many cells “for punitive reasons” for days at a time, toilets were clogged, and an inmate who had been pepper-sprayed was “unable to wash the spray off for days, leading to an infection.”

The D.C. Department of Corrections staff were “antagonizing detainees” and “directing detainees to not cooperate with” U.S. Marshals during the inspection, the agency said, and “one DOC staffer was observed telling a detainee to ‘stop snitching.’”

Last month, Lamberth called for the Department of Justice to open a civil rights investigation into the matter and held two officials in contempt of court for delaying medical treatment to Worrell.

“I find that the civil rights of the defendant have been abused,” the judge asserted.

“I don’t know if it’s because he’s a January 6th defendant or not, but I find this matter should be referred to the attorney general of the United States for a civil rights investigation into whether the D.C. Department of Corrections is violating the civil rights of January 6th defendants … in this and maybe other cases,” Lamberth said.

The FBI this summer reportedly found little evidence that the Capitol breach on January 6 was part of an organized plot to overturn the results of the election.

Still, mainstream media outlets continue to smear defendants as “insurrectionists” and “domestic terrorists” to further demonize supporters of Donald Trump and prevent him from running again in 2024.

None of this is an accident.

It’s a concerted effort to keep Trump from Washington as he is the only politician willing to expose the inner mechanisms of the Deep State and the CNN, MSNBC, NYT propaganda machine that keeps their secrets.
