Biden Lets It Slip – He’s Fantasizing About Another Lockdown

The Biden administration ran largely on the promise that it had a plan for putting an end to the COVID-19 pandemic – which we now know to be just another bold faced lie by the president. But now, the White House may potentially be considering turning up the tyranny a notch or two by rolling out massive pandemic related lockdowns.

Despite the proven ineffectiveness of strict lockdowns when it comes to fighting COVID-19, the Biden admin refused to rule out on Thursday the possibility of unleashing lockdowns on the entire nation amid an expected surge of cases in the winter months.

“In light of that, are you guys still categorically ruling out the possibility that we might see lockdowns this winter, especially considering how boosters have not kind of had the uptick that we would need to see here?” a reporter asked White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. “Are there going to be any operational changes here at the White House?”

The reporter concluded his questioning by saying, “Obviously, you know, the President is 79 years old; he’s been boosted, but the virus is swelling in a way that we haven’t seen, probably, in a year.”

“Look, as it relates to shutdowns — which is what I was trying to convey to Jeff as he asked me this question — look, you know, we’ve been very clear, Dr. Fauci has been very clear, our public health experts have been very clear: We know what works, and we’re going to continue to do what works, which is making sure that, you know, we do everything we can to get folks vaccinated,” she responded.

She later added, “We listen to the science. As I said, that is the North Star for us. We listen to health officials. And so, we’re going to continue doing what we know works and continue to talk to the American public about that.”

Listening to “science” has essentially been code for Democrats looking for a quick power grab throughout the entirety of this pandemic so that language out of the White House should be very concerning.

Biden, meanwhile, has been doing his fair share of using the Omicron variant – which only shows mild symptoms at worst – to instill fear into Americans.

On Thursday, the president issued a warning to Americans who are still unwilling to get the coronavirus vaccine: “For unvaccinated: We are looking at a winter of severe illness and death, if you’re unvaccinated. For themselves, their family, and the hospital they’ll soon overwhelm.”

Biden said the Omicron variant would spread quickly around the country in January.

“Omicron is here. It’s gonna start to spread much more rapidly at the beginning of the year, and the only real protection is to get your shot,” he said.

Biden seemed to ignore the fact that existing coronavirus vaccines continue showing reduced protection from the Omicron variant.

Biden repeated that Americans who were vaccinated and got an additional booster shot would not suffer deadly symptoms from the virus.

“If you’re vaccinated, and you have your booster shot, you’re protected from severe illness and death. Period,” he said.

Biden spoke to the press wearing a mask, after meeting with his coronavirus advisory team at the White House.

He argued that, through vaccine shots, more Americans could keep more schools and businesses open and “protect our economic recovery.”

“I want to see everyone around enjoy that,” he said. “I want to see them enjoy the fact that they’re able to be in school, that businesses are open and the holidays are coming.”
